Tales From The Dead

In this game you are a new Reaper and it’s your first day on the job.

Find the souls of the newly deceased and offer them an attentive ear. Collect their stories, their hopes and dreams, write on your journal what made them themselves. And, finally, learn how all came crashing down.

It's your job to convince these souls to pass to the afterlife, stopping them from transforming into Ghosts and being stuck on the material plane.

This is a game about collecting stories, grief and learning to let it go.

Mechanics

In this game, you will use Tarot Cards for most things, but you can easily substitute by a plain Deck of Cards.  

When it ask for a Major Arcana card, like when deciding what type of person the soul was, you can just use your imagination to create that. 

When it ask for a suit, just use the equivalent:

• Wands- Clubs
• Swords- Spades
• Cups- Hearts
• Pentacles- Diamonds

This game have heavy themes around death and grief. Proceed with caution and know your limits.

You have the option of an A4 document or a Pocket Size in Zine format to play.

English is not my first language, so any typos and erros you guys find I will gladly correct it, just let me know.
